Seadrill alliance targets remote DP operations for offshore drilling

Kongsberg Maritime, Seadrill and Hanwha Drilling have formed an alliance to develop remote dynamic positioning (DP) technology aimed at improving safety, automation and operational efficiency for offshore drilling rigs.
