Chevron eyes new oil plays in West Africa with Guinea-Bissau entry

Chevron has entered two deepwater offshore blocks in Guinea-Bissau’s MSGBC basin, expanding its strategic footprint in West Africa. The U.S. major will operate Blocks 5B and 6B with 90% interest, focusing on oil exploration through new seismic interpretation.
