Eni approves $7.2 billion Coral Norte LNG project offshore Mozambique

Eni has approved the $7.2 billion Coral Norte floating LNG project offshore Mozambique, which will add 3.6 million tons per year of LNG capacity and double the country’s production. Set to start in 2028, Coral Norte positions Mozambique as Africa’s third-largest LNG producer after Nigeria and Angola.
